Which systems does LightSource integrate with?
LightSource connects to PLM and ERP systems, and ingests BOMs from any source: PLM exports, flat files, or supplier quotes. You do not need a clean data model to start. We integrate with ERP and PLM systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Arena, Windchill, Teamcenter, and 3DEXPERIENCE.
Do we have to replace our ERP?
No. LightSource sits alongside your ERP and PLM rather than replacing them. Your ERP stays the system of record for transactions. LightSource is the system of record for pricing, quotes, and sourcing decisions, and it hands off the results.
How long does an integration take?
You can start within hours using flat file uploads, and move to full integrations at any pace. Full deployment completes in days, against the six to eighteen months typical of legacy suites.
What if our BOM data is messy?
That is the normal case, and the platform is built for it. LightSource ingests multi-level BOMs, engineering drawings, and supplier-specific quote formats, then holds them under enterprise version control so re-sourcing stays accurate as engineering revisions land.
How does LightSource handle identity and user provisioning?
LightSource supports SAML single sign-on and SCIM provisioning, and connects to identity providers including Okta and Azure AD. Access is granted on the principle of least privilege.
