What is Supplier Agent?

LightSource's AI quoting assistant for suppliers. It reads your existing quote, bid sheet or past LightSource submission and fills in the buyer's quote template for you.

Who can use it?

Any supplier answering an RFQ from a LightSource buyer. It is in early access today and launches on November 16.

What does it cost?

Supplier Agent is free for all suppliers during preview. We will give notice before anything changes.

Does it change my quote on its own?

No. It shows you its plan, marks every cell it fills, and nothing is saved until you confirm. You can dismiss all suggestions or edit any value.

Can the buyer see my file?

No. The buyer sees only the quote you submit.

What files can I upload?

Your own Excel file, a PDF or a bid sheet. You can also reuse a quote you submitted on LightSource before.

Can I use it for RFQs that do not come through LightSource?

Not yet. Today it works on RFQs from LightSource buyers.
